« back to classes page
This summer ACT performing arts program will include morning sessions alternating between dance, vocals and acting instruction. These specialized triple threat trainings will prepare everyone for the afternoon auditions and rehearsals for our end of program Showcase.

All performers will audition for a role in our original show that will be performed in the Wagner College Black Box Theatre. The audition will entail a 32-bar cut of your song choice either a cappella or with a karaoke track along with a dance combination and monologue provided at the audition. Roles will be assigned, and each day rehearsals will entail singing, dancing and acting, which will be reinforced in our morning intensives. Each cast member will receive a script and will be expected to memorize their role and be part of the ensemble. For anyone who is more of a behind-the-scenes person, join the program and learn how to be stage crew working with costumes, music, props and more! There is a role for everyone!
